Quite honest, I think the moms, dads, good teachers and people with autism themselves who work hard every day with little successes and no fame are bigger hero's. So to me meeting Jenny, Jim and folks from autism speaks don't appeal to me an awful lot as far as all things autism.
Ahhhhh, no way!!! Dang it! Must mean I didn't make the cut. That is sooooo cool. I'm nervous about the logistics of that morning, but I'm excited. I'm waiting for my t-shirt in the mail!
I didn't order a shirt....1) they're crazy expensive for a tshirt & 2) I'm really going for autism awareness...so I'm going to wear a shirt I made for last years Autism Speaks walk that has autism facts on the back (each on a puzzle piece).
