I just found out that PA has a program called Premise Alert that allows you to register with emergency services (911) so that first responders are aware that you have a person with a disability living in your home.

Heather,

Thanks for posting this. I didn't know about anything like this. I should look into it for NYS. I always worry about my kids having to call 911 for me if I have a major seizure at home and it is just the three of us. It hasn't ever happened -and I hope it never does, but it is a worry.
