Okay we are counting the days till Josh's Bar Miztvah. Right now he is doing quite well. He is reading hebrew better than me. Heck an ant can read Hebrew better than me. But right now he is putting many of the adults I know who are coming to shame. He has his prayers down pretty myuch pat. Occasional stumbling but even NT kids stumble. I swear it is true though I read some where people who have difficulty in their own language reading it and such tend to do better in a different one. And hebrew is very different between the

Josh started in Hebrew school from when he was in 1st grade which was conskidered a Festival class which only met 2x/month versus the 2x/week starting in 3rd grade. The classes

That is amazing! I am so proud of Josh and happy for you. I know you guys struggle sometimes, but it must be really great sometimes to look back and see how much progress he is actually making in the real world.

Wow Rina, it has come up so fast!
Yes it has been a long time in coming. I thought we have been on this board forever. I think I started coming here maybe 2 -3 years ago. The Bar Mitzvah we have been planning for just over a year.. My goodness.
The times and how things have changed. Josh's 1:1 has been working our very well in school. I was talking to a friend of mine at scouts. And she told me that Josh's 1:1 was one of her best friends. I told her to relay the message that I want this woman again next year because she has been Josh's saviour so tro speak. His grades have bee going up. We are not A material yet but heck cs are better than failing and slowly those have shown signs of improvement.
I am not sure where to go from here with Josh but I keep saying when the issue is important to him he will do well. If not can he have a1:1 for the rest of his life for the stuff that doesn't interset him?
