Thanks jade. Tell your hubby (m)

we lived about 5 miles outside of Gainesville when we first moved here. We had 45 acres that no one had lived on for over 50 years, way back at the end of a winding gravel road. One of our neighbors, down the gravel road, was an older couple. She had been born a nd raised in Protem back when it was almost like the wild west. Oh my! The stories she told. LOL- I loved to visit them and just sit and listen to her stories. She was a wonderful little lady.

The short story collection and novella I'm trying to get published is all set in the White River Hills area. "No Expectations" is one of the stories from the collection.

Thanks for telling me about your hubby. It just reminds me what a small world it is.

Hey Linda....

Do you mind telling me the lady's name. I have been doing genealogy and my hubby's family has been there for a long time.

If you don't want to that fine it is not everyday that you meet someone from (as my hubby would say) down home or over the hollar.

Who knows we may meet sometime when we are down there.

Have a wonderful day.
