Saturday's Surprise: Open The Envelope (m)
Write a short story (1,000 words or less) where the main character has the nickname you were given during Thursday’s Field Trip (if you didn’t take the trip here’s the link http://pages.prodigy.net/mlemus/mafiaweb.htm).
Happy writing,
Mac

Heheheh, I know why he didn't mind that his grandpa(m)
was "the coin operator", it's cause the grandson was Tony "the Zipper" Marzoni. Good story, mac.

Wow, Maria...(m)
What a story, it has a powerful message. I like the 'No Mercy Rebel' angle to this. Gives one ideas, huh? Good story, Sammi
Nice, Mac!...n/t
LMAO, Linda. I believe you're right! Thanks! (nt)
Thank you, Sammi!!! (nt)
I think you should patent that idea (m)
Mobster Monopoly would be so much fun.
There were tons of things I liked about your story, but in particular I loved the “…moss-growing nights spent in Seattle waiting on Freddy the Finger, sticky thick nights in New Orleans waiting on Marge.” Also, the way you used so many of the nicknames was excellent. Oh, and that line about the Vole taking some breathe had me rolling on the floor. Too funny, girlfriend.
I wish I could offer you some ways to improvement it, but your story is just too darn good and I can't imagine how it can get any better!

Thanks, Jade, for your kind words. (nt)
Thanks, Mac, now I'm grinning...
and I don't know when I'll stop. I had fun writing this, and I thought I'd incorporate other mobster names from our board as my guy's pals. I have no idea how Monopoly or the idea of a strawberry came up. No idea at all. But it was great fun.
Thanks for your kind comments, Mac, glad you enjoyed reading. And soon is our Tiny Tuesday, yikes!
