1. Did you inherit something from your grandmother that you cherish? Both my grandmas are still alive, but my grandpa left me his beloved piano.
2. Do you have a project to do around the house that you’ve been putting off? Clean out the study room. There's still a lot of books in boxes from our move a few months ago.
3. How often do you go grocery shopping? Once a week.
4. What female musician (living or deceased) is your favorite? Ella Fitzgerald.
5. When you write in the first person, do you usually write from a female’s point of view? Usually, yes. I like first person, but I find people tend to think the story's based on my life when I use it.

1.)Did you inherit something from your grandmother that you cherish? Yes, she left me a quilt that she made, it's beautiful.
2)Do you have a project to do around the house that you've been putting off? Just one, my list is long, one of them is to spring clean and paint the laundry room.
3)How often do you go grocery shopping? That depends on the week, sometimes once and sometimes three times, but usually once a week.
4)What female musician is your favorite? I don't have a favorite, but I like Celine Dion, Anne Murray and Barbra Streistand.
5) When you write in first person, do you usually write from a female's point of view? Yes, it feels more natural plus it's difficult to think like a man LOL

1. Did you inherit something from your grandmother that you cherish? I have a piece of family jewelry that my mother gave me, that she had received from her mother etc etc. It's a pin, a piece of Victorian mourning jewelry, that incorporates a lock of the dead person's hair, and altho it is totally gruesome and I'd never wear it, it is an unusual thing to have. My daughter took it to school for show n tell once when she was little and it was enormously successful.
2. Do you have a project to do around the house that you’ve been putting off? Er, yes, many. The most notorious one is the painting job I started last Easter that is still not finished. (I guess you don't mean the 2 plotless novels???)
3. How often do you go grocery shopping? Once a week. If something gets eaten up before the end of the week, tough luck!
4. What female musician (living or deceased) is your favorite? Difficult to pick just one. Ann Sofie van Otter.
5. When you write in the first person, do you usually write from a female’s point of view? Usually female, for a short story for instance, but I love doing male pov.

1. Did you inherit something from your grandmother that you cherish?
My grandmother didn’t actually give it to me but after her death, my mom gave me her Over Ware #12 bowl to go with my antique bowl collection. One fond memory I have of my grandmother is her biscuits, and I’m sure she used this bowl quite a lot over the years.
2. Do you have a project to do around the house that you’ve been putting off?
I need to put up a new border around ceiling of the utility room. Last fall, we had some damage to the sheet rock due to the roof leak. We had it repaired and the guy had to peel off some of the wallpaper-border but I’ve never got around to fixing it.
3. How often do you go grocery shopping?
Every Saturday come rain or shine.
4. What female musician (living or deceased) is your favorite?
This one is tough, but I’d say Robert Flack is my overall favorite.
5. When you write in the first person, do you usually write from a female’s point of view?
Yes, I’ve tried to do the male POV but it’s really hard to do except for that time I did the male dog POV, which I really enjoyed doing.
Ah, I like Ella too!!! (nt)
That is such a neat (m)
story about the doll being handed down. Perhaps around Mother's Day we can have a similar theme and you can write a short story/personal essay about this. What do you think?
Mac
You gotta good point (m)
it's way to hard to think like a man so maybe that's why I stick to a woman's POV. But your answer reminds me of Jack Nickolson's answer in As Good As It Gets when the receptionist asked how can he write like a woman. He said something like "I take away all reason..." (sorry I don't recall the rest).
Mac
Your pin sounds most interesting (m)
I believe I've seen something like it on the Antique's Roadshow but what a treasure you have, especially since it comes from a relation.
Mac
Hey Mac (m)
I will do your wall papering if you will do my wall painting!LOL
