1. Did you inherit something from your grandmother that you cherish?
Yes! Independence and determination.
2. Do you have a project to do around the house that you’ve been putting off?
I need to refinish the bookcase in my office.
3. How often do you go grocery shopping?
Maybe once every two months. My husband does the grocery shopping. He has more traditional working hours.
4. What female musician (living or deceased) is your favorite?
Billie Holiday (dead) Melissa Ethridge (living).
5. When you write in the first person, do you usually write from a female’s point of view?
I write in an objective (fly on the wall) point of view with my news stories.
With fiction I can't recall writing anything in first person.

1. Did you inherit something from your grandmother that you cherish?
Yes, a little pewter snuff box her mother bought for her at the 1893 world's fair.
2. Do you have a project to do around the house that you’ve been putting off?
You mean, like cleaning? (Heheheheheh.)
3. How often do you go grocery shopping?
Depends on how badly I want something. M&M runs, anytime. Real food, usually once or twice a month.
4. What female musician (living or deceased) is your favorite?
Probably Bette Midler or Sara McLochlin(? sp)
5. When you write in the first person, do you usually write from a female’s point of view?
Not necessarily. Depends on the story and whether it feels more effective with the POV character -- whoever he/she is -- in first person.

Don't you hate those darn M&M runs...hehehe (nt)
I love Billie Holiday too (m)
Remember that lyric exercise we did that time? I was going to use Billie Holiday's Strange Fruit but couldn't make the story work. It's in my "to do" file and hopefully I can get around to finishing it one day.
