Right now we're in the process of trying to get Kira to drink milk/formula from a sippy. She still drinks that out of bottles for the most part. but she will drink water and juice from her Munchkin straw sippies. She loves them and they rarely leak!

I would buy the nuby ones...there like in the middle of a bottle and a sippy...if u really want her to quit the bottle just take it away one day and give her a sippy. its what we did..she cried for 2 days and then forgot all about it! lol, may sound mean but it worked. but those nuby ones worked well for a transition and now she'll take a sippy no prob! good luck!

the thought of taking away bottles and only using sippy cups hadn't even crossed my mind before i read this.. why did you guys take them away? raelie drinks her milk in a bottle before nap and before bed, and then has water or 1/2 water, 1/2 juice in a sippy cup any other time that she has a drink. i'm gonna go do some research now... lol i didn't have any idea parents removed bottles so early. *scurries off to google..*

yeah, i was reading that on google. hrmm. my doc never mentioned anything to me about bottles. lol oh well. when she's ready to give them up, i'll take them away i guess. i don't really want to force her if she's not ready.

A week after Amelia turned one we just stopped giving her a bottle.
