My little guy gave up his morning nap at 1 year.

Ashley has been taking 1 nap per day now for the last 4 months or so, and she also usually sleeps 1.5-3 hours. She went through a phase about a month ago where she tried to shorten her nap to an hour for a few days in a row. She got very cranky at night, and fortunately she has reverted back to her longer naps. She usually only sleeps 9 or 10 hours at night, so she really couldn't handle sleeping an hour or less during the day. Does your SP seem overtired in the evenings now, or is he okay after taking 1 hr naps?

It's been about half and half on the crankies in the afternoon. He has been sleeping about 12 hours at night.

Hopefully it's just a phase and he'll revert back to a longer nap for a while. I sure hope my SP takes a long nap today...she was awake from 3:30 to 6:15 am this morning because of teething and she becomes a whiny mess when she is really sleep deprived.

Killian takes NO naps during the day. I've tried everything I can do to get him to settle down and rest, but he's got unending energy. Even when he would take a nap, it'd only be for 20 or so minutes, and all of that stopped back in November or December! Our house is insane most of the time, haha.

Jenn - did you get a longer nap? My SP has 16 teeth and seems to have stopped teething for now. We'll be back to that once those last molars come in.

Oh no Rachel. Is Ronan able to sleep while his big brother plays?

Rachel, you're definitely my hero, caring for a baby with an 18 month old who won't nap. :) I can't imagine.

Lisa, Ashley slept for about an hour and a half. I was hoping for a little longer, but I did take a short nap while she slept and still had a little time for some house work. She just cut her bottom canines, and is now working on her top ones. I think after those are through, she'll be done until her next set of molars. Hopefully she'll go back to sleeping well through the night after this.

We just moved Annabelle from a crib (she could climb out) to a big girl bed and now her nap went from 2 hours to just 1 hour, waaaahhhh.
