My little guy doesn't have his check up until next week, but I'm curious how the other SP's check ups went :)

We just got ours last week, although Killian is 16 months old. I got so frazzled after Ronan was born, and I made the drs office schedule both boys' appointments together. Killian was 33 pounds, 36 inches, and in the 99th percentile for everything! The doctor was so happy that he can make simple sentences now, and this kid never ever quiets down! His new favorite thing to tell me is " I don't remember". We have no clue where he picked that up! He gave us a major scare a few weeks ago when he woke up with a tummy ache and cried so hard he held his breath and passed out! The dr wasn't too concerned about his breath holding spells, but more about the belly ache. Thankfully he's not done anything like that since. That was the worst thing I've ever had to go through! Does anyone else have a kiddo that suffers from breath holding spells?

Ours went well. We actually missed the 12 month one, but we're all good now. Annabelle is almost as big as her three year old brother (but he's petite). She was 24.6 lbs and 32". Very physically forward :) We didn't do 12 month vaccines and I wasn't going to play catch up, plus I'm selectively vaccinating now, so she just got two of the six they wanted to give her.

Glad Cole's visit went well. It does sound like they do things differently in the states. They do separate shots - so sometimes there has been 3 shots and one oral. My ped always has a form that she fills out with his height and weight (with percentiles) so luckily we don't have to try to remember it :)

I took Cole to the doctors last week although he turned 15 months at the end of February.

Wow! You have a very healthy baby there. She's beautiful too!!! Here in Canada, they lump all the immunizations into one needle so that kids/babies only get pricked once. Am I right to say that isn't the way they do it in the U.S.?
Glad to hear it was a good visit!

Those numbers look good! Sorry to hear he's sick, but if this is his first cold - lucky him and lucky you!! My Cole has been sick so many times in his little life time ... I feel badly for him. They get through it though.

Oh, that's too bad that your SP has been ill for so long. This weather is brutal, isn't it? It's just that time of the year, I guess. I've heard it so many times that you can't get sick from being cold, but let me tell you, I'v gotten a cold more than once from having a chill - is it just a coincidence? I doubt it ;)
Anyway, I'm glad she's starting to feel better.

Sounds like Max is doing just fine. He sure is a cutie-pie! So sorry to hear about the fever though. Did you give SP anything for it? Some will and some won't - just wondering what your take on that is.

We went today, even though Ashley is now 16 months, and she was 32.5" and 26 lbs 7 ounces. She had 2 immunizations, which she did not appreciate, but otherwise it was a relatively uneventful visit.
