Who's here?
Ingie and Alia, 11 months next week

How many times (day/night) does SP nurse?
Not that often anymore, maybe 3 or 4 times a day: First thing in the morning, before her afternoon nap around 4, then at bedtime around 8. She sometimes takes a snack in the middle, but it's mostly on weekends when we're both home.
Is the end in sight??

God, I sure hope so! She already refuses to nurse when we're outside, and even at daycare she won't take EBM anymore, and won't even nurse when I visit her when I have a short break (she goes to a DCF on campus). She only wants to nurse when we're at home, especially when she's sleepy.

Anything else to share?

We're waking up around 4 am again these days to nurse for comfort because she's teething again. We're both extremely sleep-deprived and cranky because we have to wake up really early to go to work!

Who's here?
Chris and Catie-11.5 months

How many times (day/night) does SP nurse?
During the week on average she nurses 6+ times a day. Weekends we're more busy going places, so i'd say that's more like 4x's a day.
Is the end in sight??
I hope not! I'd like to nurse her until she's at leat 2 years old.

Who's here? Stephanie and Lauren How many times (day/night) does SP nurse? 1. When she wakes up (around 6:30) 2. Before breakfast(around 8:00) 3. Before morning nap (around 10:00) 4. When she wakes up from nap (around 11:00) 5. Bf'd her around 1:00 because she doesn't have "lunch" yet 6. Before she goes down for afternoon nap (2:30) 7. When she wakes up (around 4:00) 8. Before supper (around 6:00) 9. Before bed (around 8:30) and then she wakes up 2-5 times through the night Is the end in sight?? I return to work in 10 short days, so she will be down to hopefully 6 feeding after Nov 1st. And then I want to start giving her bottle of reg cow's milk. I have been giving her sippy cups with reg milk now, and she's had no tummy troubles. The problem with her drinking from a sippy is that she will have a few actual drinks (I think it gets to her tummy), but then she starts collecting it in her mouth, lets it run down the front of her and starts blowing raspberries. She sometimes dumps milk on the floor, sticks her face to the floor and tries to lick it up like a dog! I have no idea where she got that from. Maybe she notices the cat eating? Anything else to share? I am hopeful that she will start eating real food better once she turns one, and I can stop bf'ing her before meals. Last night DH did not get home for supper until late and that threw the whole supper routine off. I decided to feed the kids and hadn't bf'd SP first, and she ate 4 pcs of chicken, 1 tsp cottage cheese, 5 green beans, 1 tsp mashed potato, a few cut up grapes and 1/4 of a banana. It was very nice to see her eating.
