Hey Megan! Glad you and Ashlynn are doing well. You probably already have found these resources, but just in case, here are some sites that might be useful:
Ashley has been doing the same thing - saying down no matter what direction she wants to go! She started saying up for everything, then switched to down (I guess because I was trying to emphasize the word when I put her down)... and now she occasionally will say the words properly, but usually still says down for everything.
I'm here! I haven't been here much recently, but may try to get more active, especially since "things" are going on right now with my SP, Adam!
When I say, "Things", I mean we're entering into the realm of Terrible Twos! I'd always heard it starts around 18mos, and that it hits earlier for boys--I never went through the Terrible Twos with my daughter, it was more like the Horrendous Threes! But anyway, Adam is doing the hitting, throwing, and tantrums--none of them MAJOR, but all of them more than I ever dealt with for my daughter. So looking for advice from BTDT moms of terrible tots!
In other news--I'm pregnant with #3, due at the end of September. Just this past week I've moved my little guy into my daughter's room. We'll work on transitioning them into Roomies, before I tackle the transition to a big bed come August.
Life is good, albeit hectic, and certainly with considerable ups and downs....
Congratulations Krista! My SP s going through the terrible twos as well. I've been trying to ignore the occasional tantrum or distract him. No hitting or throwing yet thankfully. No real advice - I'm just hoping it's a short phase!
I'm here.
I'm here, too. Nothing really new going on here...just trying to keep Ashley entertained and yet stay out of the heat!
