I was searching for a website on the working and pumping board and ran across your post about your pump going out. If Medela doesn't help you fix the problem or replace the pump, I have a Lansinoh double electric I can send you. You'd need to get shields, bottles, membranes etc. for it, but you can PM me your address if you end up needing it. I'd hate for you to have to buy another pump for 6 weeks, and I don't need it. (I have 2 other PISAs I actually use. I didn't care for the Lansinoh for exclusive pumping.)

Okay, great! Good luck!

Hopefully, they'll just send you a new PISA. :) A few of the ladies on the Exclusively Pumping board have called Medela when they have problems with the PISA, and Medela sent them brand new ones. Do you have your receipt? I had the impression that if you have your receipt (or maybe a credit card statement or something showing when you bought it?) and you're still within the one year warranty period, they replace the pump with very few questions asked.

I've heard such good things about Medela's customer service, but I have to say they went above and beyond my hopes.

Wow, that's awesome! I'm so happy you get a new one! Having a good pump makes all the difference. Hopefully that brand new PISA will help your last few weeks pumping at work not so terrible. :)
