Although I loved the experience for the third time, I was happy to wean Cole after 2 full years of breastmilk.

That must be such a nice feeling to be done. Does Cole really understand what is being said to him? DD says a lot of words, repeats but I but know that she understands.

I spoke too soon.

After not nursing Cole for 26 days and not pumping at all, I am back to nursing him.

Aw. I think it's adorable that he understood when you told him it was all gone. Did something happen to make you go back to BFing?

Both of mine breastfed right up until their 2nd birthdays. With DS, he just lost interest about a week after his 2nd birthday. With DD, she was about a week before her 2nd birthday. :( I wouldn't have minded continuing, but I guess they were both done.
