1st AF = Nursing strike?

Any thoughts? She flat out wont nurse and finally did take a bottle of formula...the last time she accepted the breast was around 2 am this morning!

I've heard that milk can taste different when you get your period. That could be it, but there are other reasons for a strike ... ear pain, a cold / congestion, teething, etc. I haven't figured out how to cut and paste on my phone yet, but kellymom has some good info on weathering a strike. Do you pump at all to give ebm???

Yes I do have a pump so I can wather the strike if it had continued....She did nurse at around 6:30 last night.

always had a dip in supply when I would get AF.

I'm glad that she went back to breast! Very frustrating when they won't nurse!

Ugh, how Frustrating!!!
I think that'sactually a common pattern. Maybe try nursing inquiet dark Room?
