Ok, so I got my first af Nov. 29. Super heavy, way more than a normal one for me. Then right at the time I would ovulate during a normal cycle, I had 5 days of light spotting. Was this also af? I'm now 4 days late if I go with the 29th, but would be o'ing right now if I go with the spotting as an af. I know I'm not pg (tested just to be sure!) Just trying to figure this out!

I think that would be cool. I have a few friends who are LMTs an they seem to like heir work! It would probablh be a reasonably flexible job, too.

I would love to be the boss of myself, but I think nothing would get done, lol. I would think having later hours a couple nights a week would be appreciated by the patients- I always hated trying to get squeezed in after work and not being able to! Good for you for going after what makes you happy! I'm kinda stuck taking what I can get at this point, but hopefully soon I'll be able to move on to something I enjoy! I'm thinking about going to school to become a massage therapist- I've learned a lot from my mom already and really enjoy making people feel good. Plus, I can make as much in one hour as I could in an entire day subbing! Taxes would be a pita, but it would be worth it if I love my job!

I went out on medical leave at the beginning of November, so I've had extra time with V, which is awesome. I call it my "second maternity leave"! But she does well in daycare (she's still been going 2 days a week while I was off) and I love our DCP. Then 2 days a week she's with her 2 sets of grandparents, which is also awesome. And currently my hours correspond with the hours C is at school, so that's worked out well.

But I'm going to be going back into private practice. I'm hoping to work some flexible hours - maybe 2 days a week get out in time to pick up C at school, and 2 days a week go in later and work till 7 or so, to accomodate people coming in after work. I'm hoping that will work out well.

I have one offer and I"m calling to find out about other opportunities as well. I think I will be a lot happier *not* working for someone else, but being the boss myself, lol.

LOL Spencer! Don't need it (yet!) but am definitely getting prepared! That's part of why I'm trying to figure things out lol, trying to make some plans! ;)

I'm glad things are going well for you! A new job is very exciting :) I'm feeling sad about having to leave my babies, but the extra socialization will be good for them. What are you thinking of doing?

Disney! I haven't been to Disney since I was in 4th grade! That will be a blast!!

Things have been going well. I go back to work soon, which I'm not looking forward to, but I think knowing that I'm going to resign soon will help. I'm investigating my other options and getting excited for a change.

We are going to Disney soon which is awesome. C is going to have so much fun!

How nice to reconnect with a nice guy. Don't forget that protection! ! ;)

Thanks Spencer! I've missed you too!! ((HUGS)) How are things?
I'm up to a lot, actually lol! I'm on the last step of getting a job, and hopefully then saving up enough to get the heck outta my mom's!
I've met this guy- well, we knew each other in high school actually, and just reconnected via fb. We're kinda seeing each other, and things are going really good with him. We're taking things slowly, because we're both kind of at the same place in our lives, not really ready for a true relationship, but really enjoying each other's company. We get the kids together for playdates, and of course go out on our own occasionally. We're not serious yet- but we've been dating for a little over a month now, and probably will get more serious soon. He is the polar opposite of my ex (I know he's not technically my ex yet, but he's already proposed to his next victim, so I call him that already!) and he is super-sweet and funny, and great with the kids. I really like him, even though I'm trying not to ;)
I've been running around trying to get things together for my job, and of course with the holidays things were crazy, but starting to calm down now. I'm trying to make it to the board more often!

Its not unheard of to spot with O. But often O is delayed when you're bf, so you could be having irregular anovulatory bleeding rather than actually cycling. So if you're not pg, then I wouldn't worry much about when you get your period. Just be sure you're protected if the issue comes up.

BTW, what are you up to? I've missed you! :)
