Personally, I wouldn't do it. From my understanding, this is pretty old school advice that can cause tummy problems. He's probably going through a growth spurt. Especially if you're not really worried about getting more sleep, I'd just feed him when he's hungry.

Around 6 weeks they will go through a growth spurt give or take a week or so. Bryson hit his at around 8 weeks but he was born 2 weeks early. Anyway I swear I fed him constantly for 2-3 days then he returned to normal.
I would feed on demand but dont let him just gulp it down. Stop him after every oz or so let him take a breather or try to burp and then continue. This might cause him to slow down some and feel full.

okay I am going to go against the consensus here,I used the rice cereal technique with Dominic after a m/w suggested it he was slightly refluxy but ALWAYS hungry..it seemed I couldnt put
