JB had her check up today.....19 1/2 pounds and 30+ inches......63% for weight and 99% for height!

Doing fine:)

I was very displeased with my pedi though.....I am realizing that although she is into alternative meds and such for example chiro, pulse light therapy blablabla, she studies eastern med as well....but is a normal western doctor....we have that similarity BUT we are at odds with the NURTERING part.

Yay! We can finally join in! I took Genevieve to the ped this morning!
She's 29 inches, 20 lb 14 oz. BIG GIRL!! LOL!
She's army-crawling and has pulled herself up once in her crib but not since we lowered her mattress.

My JB is 25 lbs and 29 inches. He's a big boy nowdays :)

We are only eating 1-2 meals per day and the rest is formula for now. He really doesn't like food. No matter how much I feed him, he feels like he missed his bottle after.

He's very behind in the crawling tho he can stand for a few seconds on his own and hold himself up. I think we might be skipping crawling...maybe he's just too big?

That's probably it loganrea - at 30+ inches and 19.5 lbs, your little JB must be a skinny thing :) Just her makeup, I'm sure...but peds get paid to worry about potentional problems, right?

We don't do well check ups here. In fact, bc my JB was born at home he has NEVER seen a doc. I'm starting to think I should bring him in anyway...even if they look at me like "why is he here" like when I brought DS1.

I'm not in love with any of the peds in our area.

Sounds like our JB's are doing great :-) Kylie was 19lb (50th%) and 27.5" (43rd%).

I can relate to the frustration with your ped. I asked mine about nursing past 12 months and she told me there was little value and babies she's seen who are nursed after that point are usually skinny. But when I gave her a WTF look she backtracked and said that if my baby and I are both happy continuing that it was really up to us because the nutrition is still good, just most of the antibody benefits are over at that point. It didn't make me want to change peds because I love everything else about her and her office but it was frustrating. I say if your JB wants BM at night, your JB gets BM at night!
