We had a first and middle name picked out (family names), and I loved both of them. Then we went for the U/S
My philosophy is you shouldn't tell ANYONE who wasn't there when they baby was conceived.
DH and I always use a family name for the middle name. DD has my mother's middle name which is also my middle name ~ Lea. DS has DH's middle name ~ Tyler. And this little girl will have MIL's middle name ~ Gail:):)
The first name we already had picked out from if DS's had been a girl. Although when we found out this LO is a girl, I was a bit sceptical of the name because of it's popularity (it's in the top 10 on the SS list). I tried and tried to find another name but we can't find one we love nearly as much! I have done a lot of research from teachers and such and there aren't really a lot of this name around our area in the Midwest so that makes me feel a little better. And DH could absolutely care less what anyone else thinks...maybe I should be more like him?!
I've scrolled the credits for ideas too!
