I just saw a preview for a show called extreme couponing coming on next week on tlc."i just got 640 dollars worth of groceries for $6"
I could never understand this. What about meat and fresh veggies?
Is anyone here an extreme couponer?

I'm not. I should cut more coupons. But I've seen the show and it's pretty crazy how much they save.

I REALLY want to see this show! I'm not an extreme couponer by any means, but I sure wish I could be!

Thats how i am. I cut the coupons, then either forget them when i go or wait too long and they expire on me. Im going to watch this show and take notes.:)

I wish I could be a coupon queen but I just feel like it takes so much time. I want to see the show though.

i've seen an episode of this... it's amazing! it is time consuming though and i just never see myself being that dedicated, lol. but the guy on the episode i watched serously went to the store and got thousands of dollars worth of groceries - even fresh stuff- for under $100. He bought cases and cases of ceral and got them for free because of a coupon he had and they were on sale (he donates the extra perishible stuff he gets to food pantries). but he spent hours clipping coupons and making shopping lists every week, he said he gets like 10 different newspapser and subscribes to several coupon services on the internet... then he just saves them up and will only buy something if he has a coupon for it. his garage was like a warehouse! lol. it would be nice to spend next to nothing on groceries, but like i said, you have to be really dedicated to it.
