Is anyone feeling hiccups yet? As I was trying to fall asleep on Mother's Day, the baby kept kicking me over and over in the same spot, rhythmically...then it hit me: those are hiccups, not kicks! I thought it was really special that he chose Mother's Day to have them for the first time ;)

I didn't feel any on Monday or Tuesday, then yesterday he had them 3 times and has them right now for the first time today! My DS got them at least 3x/day every day, but I didn't feel them for the first time until 29 weeks. It just seems like an awful lot of hiccups...

I know it feels like they have hiccups so much! When I first started feeling them she was breech, so I felt this rythmic thumping in my crotch...a LITTLE strange to experience! With my first, when I had an ultrasound at 14 weeks, she had the hiccups. It was so cute...because so tiny at that stage, each hiccup would send her bouncing around.

At our 21 week scan the tech said that the baby had the hiccups and we saw her bouncing away.

I felt them the other day for the first time. I wasn't sure that's what it was at first, because with DD I never felt hiccups? Anyway, I thought it was pretty amazing!
