We've done other things to have fun, but it's been a while since we had actual intercourse because I feel lots of pressure down there and I've had tons of ligament pain. If he really wanted to do it, I would do everything I could to make sure he wouldn't last very long once it got to that stage, if you get my drift. That's my advice. That way he's happy and you get the benefits without as much of the discomfort. I don't think there's anything to be grossed out by, even though I totally understand the feeling. I just feel gross in general right now. Not sexy at all.

We haven't in 3-4wks, but that has more to do with the fact that we've been arguing a lot. Neither of us wants to be around the other. I'm not uncomfortable "down there" yet so physically I would be okay with it, but it's just not on my radar right now.

absolutely! :-) i'm really glad it's not too awkward/painful for me yet (i'll take all that good prostoglandin i can get! lol). i will say that only one position works really well anymore (him behind me) but it's still fun, so neither one of us is complaining. we'll see what the next few weeks bring, but for now, it's still going well.

We're still DTD here. I have very little desire to. But I love DH and miss being close with him. And I know he's horny. And that DTD and sperm help labor. My MW suggested it at my appt yesterday too.

I can only handle it on my hand and knees. It is most comfortable that way. I can't take it hard and the good thing is that because we aren't doing it as much, DH doesn't last as long. He always seems satisfied and I love being close to him. Win win?

We haven't in a while - we've found other things to do, too. I really just don't feel like it at all. Last PG, it was kinda the same way towards the end. I know it can help progress labor, so we'll see...

I'm dying to, but I'm soooooo swollen down there and in so much pain, that the thought of it scares me.

Yes, we certainly are here: ) After being on bedrest for 6 weeks, and not able to DTD, I have initiated it just as much as DH! It's the only advice Dr. gave me to helping labor start (Although I have a male Dr...so he could just be trying to help the DH's as much as he can!!). So we will see. It's uncomfortable at times, but I feel fine physically so I figure might as well...it can't hurt trying and if it actually brings on labor at this point I would be SUPER excited!!!

I'm with many other ladies, I feel bad it will be weeks after the baby is born to.DTD, so I do try to make sure he is happy even though I'm not always up for it.
