I lived in nursing tanks for pretty much the first year of my DS1's life, and I got an XXL when normally I would have chosen an XL. I didn't buy any actual bras until he was around 10-11mos, and I actually fitted myself for them at a 40D...the bras I wore pre-preg were 38C.

I think they tell you to make sure the bras fit around your rib cage on the loosest setting now and then add one cup size from what you are now. For me, this works great. I also love my new nursing bra from Target that is by Bravado. They come in S, M, L, XL. I got an XL which is slightly big on me but great right now while I'm engorged. I also wear a shirt size XL usually. You do want to put one in your hospital bag because it is easier to nurse in than a regular bra :)

Springmomma, are you from the clover cuties group? You look extra familiar. Anyhow, which bra was it? They have a ton.

No, April Apple Bottoms :) Clover Cuties were March, right? We probably stalked each other's groups lol, The Target store by me only had one kind of the Bravado in the store and when I look online I'm not seeing the one I like so much. It is most similar to this one: http://www.target.com/Bravado-Design-Seamless-Nursing-Bra/dp/B001B5NP9Q/ref=br_1_12?ie=UTF8&id=Bravado%20Design%20Seamless%20Nursing%20Bra&node=2224480011&searchSize=30&searchView=grid3&searchPage=1&sr=1-12&qid=1311958042&rh=&searchBinNameList=style_name%2Clifestyle-bin%2Ctarget_com_size-bin%2Ctarget_com_primary_color-bin%2Cprice%2Ctarget_com_brand-bin&searchRank=salesrank&frombrowse=1 but cheaper because it a Bravado line made for the store I guess....

I wear a 40D normally and last time I was able to wear a 40D nursing bra with no problem. This time I bought a 42D because I think I've gained some chub around my top.
