Lines not darkening?

Hi All. I got my BFP at 8 and it was very, very faint on an internet cheapie.
AT 9 dpo, the line was more visible, but still extremely light.
At 10 dpo, a digital confirmed these lines, and I also took another internet cheapie which was still super light but there.
Yesterday at 11 dpo, the lines looked exactly the same as before, and this morning 12 dpo, the line is still super light (dare I say a tad lighter??).
I've been using the same tests so I know its not about the sensitivity. I remember with DS the lines getting darker each day? I will say the past two days that I got up to pee around 4am, and then tested around 7am so it wasn't exactly FMU.
I know I am only 12 dpo and its still really early (most women don't even know at 12 dpo). AF is due Friday and I'm hoping to see that day come and go with no sign of her. My first appointment and US is 12/31, but I'm sure I could ask for a beta before then if I needed it.
I guess I'll keep testing (and with FMU) and if I'm still concerned in a few days I'll ask for a beta. I'm hoping for the best. Has anyone experienced this? I did some google-ing on it - (damn google!) and I read it could be a sign of a mmc, but I also read women who experienced this and were perfectly fine.

I haven't been POASing this time around, but I do remember it took a little while for my lines to start getting darker when I was pg w/my first. Closer to the time I would have actually gotten AF!

Its still early.
Some ppl dont even get BFPs until 13DPO.
I never get one before 10DPO & its definitely faint.
Just hope for the best. A beta isnt going to help the outcome anyway & it will just drive you bonkers.
Thanks so much! I'm feeling better. The line was so faint this morning it scared me, but I waited 4 hours, tested again and it was much darker but still overall faint. I know its early. I can't wait for our U/S so I can see our little babe and relax a bit. Thanks!!
