29 week appointment

I had my check up today - and glucose test (blah). How soon do I have to wait to hear if I passed? I forgot to ask...

Anyways, baby is already head down, and he/she sounds great! I go to appts every 2 weeks now...it's so weird - it seems too soon!

They called me the next morning to tell me I failed :) Good luck!

Your day sounds like mine. glucose test and appointment. Except my little stinker is still breech. My dr said I would know if I failed GTT by tomorrow or the next day at the latest. This is crazy going every two weeks now.

I just took my test today and they said they have results in 24 to 48 hours.

Every two weeks! Yikes! One day it seems to be going too slowly, the next way too fast!

Let's hope no news is good news :) My office called this afternoon to say everything looked great from yesterday, but I'm low on iron ..

AMEN to hoping no news is good news! I still haven't heard...but my iron was low at my first appt, so they were gonna check that, too. I've been taking iron and Floradix since then. I was anemic last time, too. What are they having you do for your iron?

They told me to take a slow release iron tab over the counter. I haven't gotten anything yet. I'm going to ask them if there is a prescription I can get....so the insurance can pay not me...should get something out of the hundreds of dollars spent on insurance that we've never used for years and years :) It'd be nice to find an iron pill that doesn't cause constipation either!

I did my gtt a few weeks ago and they told me i passed on the spot after doing a finger prick.
