A July baby!

Here is my pregnancy update for the day. I'm just shy of 12 weeks and had another u/s with my perinatogist. All looks good. We told Xan (my five year old) . He says it's a boy because "I saw short hair on the picture" meaning the u/s. I chatted briefly with my peri. The plan right now is to follow me basically the same as last time. That means cervical checks every few weeks and not much else until and unless all goes crazy. He doesn't think that progesterone shots will make much of a difference in outcome for me. Big u/s scheduled for 3.22.

Biggest news today is that he plans to deliver at 36 weeks. He mentioned 35 but I shot that down and agreed we can discuss it if/when things go bad. He said he definitely doesn't want to wait until 37 weeks. So, I'm having me a July baby.

Wow, scary/exciting to know! Do you have an incompetent cervix? I can't remember :-/ I hope you come read all of our posts complaining about being hot and fat and miserable the whole month of August while you're enjoying your new baby!

Thanks, Bridget! I am sure some of the early August moms will beat me.

I'm glad they are staying on top of it, how scary for you. At least there is some history to help prep you and get the shots for baby's lungs

It will all work out. I can relate to the feeling that you're not being told something.
