I just checked mines online and it says I am positive for it. I haven't heard anything from my doctor yet so I'm sure she will discuss it at my next appt.

I have three appt for the rest of this month. The next one is nov 17th. My plan was to go natural but if I am in fact positive with this then I have to get the antib.. thru IV. So I will ask a lot of question. If they will have to induce me so I can have the antib in my system.. idk lol we shall see

Mine was negative.

When I was tested, my doc just said they would give me antibiotics at the hospital (can't remember if it was before or after birth or both) if I tested positive.

Its before so the baby doesn't come in contact with it. They give it thru IV, I'm allergic to the main antib they give so they will have to give me something else. When I got the test she explained that a lot of women have it but doesn't know. She said that they test while prego because it can cause some medical problems with baby if mom isn't treated. Apparently from what I read u can be high risk or low risk. I never heard of this test before until now, so I'm glad I got it.

I get my results at appointment next week. I think you get IV antibiotics during labor if you test positive.

I haven't been tested yet. My next appointment is the 15th. They will do the test then. I tested positive with the other 3 so I fully intend on testing positive this time as well. Would be nice if it was Neg. As far as the antis go, they will let you go into labor naturally. You just have to have the antis in your system an hour before delivery. I BARLEY made the hour mark with both boys and they were both ok. If you think your labor might be short, just make sure you head to the hospital right away so they can get your antis started and in you before delivery. :)

Jayla I did not have it with my first but did with my second. Dr said Im 80% likely to carry it again. You don:t have to be induced but they prefer you to get 2 bags of antibiotics in you before delivery. With Oliver my water broke so I went & got my things & to the hospital even though I hadn't begun contracting. I know the iv meds HURT my arm like it was being cut off so they slowed it down & that made the biggest difference. I was even given time to walk around & bring on labor before they gave it to me. I will have my test tom @ 36 weeks 3 days and assume they'll let me know results at my folllwing appt on the 17.

So we do have the same appt next week on the 17th. Hopefully the doctor will explain it more to me when I go on the 17th.
