Got to see baby today

So for most of you that don't know, I have hypothyroidism. I was just diagnosed in Nov after the loss of our 2nd baby in 7 months. The first was at 8w5d, that one we happened to find out at our 9w2d dating U/S. No heart beat. The next one was at 8w6d. We had seen baby at 8w4d and everything was a-ok. 10w6d, I started spotting and it got heavier and heavier throughout the night. Went to the Dr the next morning, U/S showed no heart beat and that baby only grew to 8w6d. So fast forward to 2 weeks ago, 7w. I had an U/S that showed baby with a good strong heart beat. Well I was still worried even though I just knew it was my thyroid that took the other 2 and that had been corrected. I asked the Dr to please see me in 2 weeks, just after 9w to make sure baby had made it so I wasn't walking around thinking everything was fine if something had happened. He agreed 100%. So today I went in, an excited/nervous/sick mess, to see our baby measuring right on track dancing around in there with a good strong heart beat. I and the Dr/nurse swore it looked like baby was doing "The Worm" in there. It was too cute. Such relief, I will be here till Dec. YAY, I am so happy not to have to write a goodbye post for the 3rd time. :) Oh and I know this is my 4th baby but I am SO AMAZED at how much they grow in just 2 weeks!!! Its CRAZY!!!

That is great and awesome that your dr is able to reassure you and let you see baby doing so well! I can't wait to see mine again. I haven't seen him/her since the blob/7 weeks phase! And I completely understand about the awe part. I'm on my third and feel like it's the first time again. It's just amazing! So happy for you and baby hanging tight in there for the long haul :)

Yeah! I am having ultrasounds every two weeks until yje SCH is gone, I too am amazed at the differences in the scans. My first was a blob, last week you could see head and arms. I figure if I have to deal with the SCH, I might as well get a perk of extra peaks!

Thank you :) yeah I feel like this is my first all over again. This is the largest age space between kids. My "baby" will be 6 when this baby is born. That to me seems sooooo long!! It makes it fun though, because everything does feel like the first time again. Hopefully you will get to see your little one again soon :)

EXACTLY, I'm loving seeing this little one every 2 weeks, I love seeing the changes and the reassurance that baby is doing ok.

Wonderful news!! There's nothing like the reassurance we get when seeing those little peanuts wiggle around, is there??
