So my pap came back abnormal... Yesterday I ended up having three areas on the outside of my cervix biopsied plus a spot inside my cervix. Now to wait.... Ugh

Have you ever had an abnormal one before? I tested positive for HPV for the first time after Olivia was born. Mine is mild but it flares up when I am really stressed. I totally look to have an abnormal pap at my 6 week. I hope you get good results and they come back quickly because waiting sucks, too.

I tested hpv positive too... I'm worried something is going to come back pre or cancerous; in my family both my aunts and my mother have had pre cancer or cancer of the cervix! So im kinda freaking out.

(((hugs)))

I am having the same issue here. I had an abnormal pap when pregnant and came back HPV positive. I go tomorrow for a coloscopy and possible biopsy...nervous :( I have never had bad paps before this, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Jess-that is scary! I hope it's just HPV again.

Julie-(((hugs))) The first one is the worst. I've had several and actually now refuse to get them till I've tested abnormal twice in a year. Make sure you take some motrin before hand because you will be sore. Let us know what you find,

It was my second colposcopy (they did one when I was pregnant too) and she said the same thing, "nothing terribly interesting going on, which is good". LOL. In any case, she didn't need to do a biopsy but she still took what she called a "scraping" (yuck!) from inside for examination. That was uncomfortable and I'm having a bit of cramping and spotting now.
