And we have news about going home...

Ok so DH had his meeting today at 2 and it turned out BETTER than either of us could have ever imagined!! So the BEST news of all is that we will actually be out of here by about Sept 1st. 5 1/2 weeks give or take which makes me feel much better about going, rather than 5-6 weeks before Addie is due. To me, equally to the first is that I called my Dr who delivered Kenz, JJ and Nate, she was not in today but will call me back early next week. The lady who I talked to said she doesn't see any reason why my Dr wouldn't see me for the rest of this pregnancy. SUPER EXCITING to me, because she has been the only person who I truly trusted since I was 17, she was my very first OB, she always had mine and baby's best interest at heart. Don't get me wrong, I like my Drs here as well, I just don't always trust them 100% and I don't always feel like they know what is best for me. Anyhow, so the next things are he is getting the separation pay that he thought he was not going to get. Its quite a large lump sum and we will easily be able to get into a house and get settled before miss Addie gets here. And lastly, he is getting 60% from the VA and 10% from the Army (of his pay) for the rest of his life, non taxable money.

We are very happy with all of these things and now even more excited. I will admit it is a tad bit bitter sweet for me, as I am leaving behind a very good friend (Nate and her son are just days apart and are best friends and they are each others first friends ever) I never thought it would be this hard to prepare to say good bye to her. I am thankful she is also from CA so I know we will definitely see each other again when they go home for visits and when her DH is done in the Army.

So thats our update, we should be headed home for good in about 5 1/2 weeks!! :)
