I'm going this weekend to buy natural folic acid. My doctor said its nothing wrong with it. But because dh sister was born with a spinal problem the doctor said I should take it because I don't drink milk or eat wheat etc.

I take extra folic acid but this is because I have a blood disorder that has caused me to have 6+ miscarriages. So I take extra folic acid along with asprin and b-12 & b-6. Yuck so much meds!! But keeps baby healthy. Folic acid is good for the baby spinal development.
