I'm going to do that same. Once he's out of our room, I'll get one. I still use one for my 6 year old because it's hard to hear her when we're downstairs. She's a heavy sleeper and sometimes doesn't wake up enough to do more than cry when she has to go potty. We ended up not really using a monitor with DS.

We have an angelcare as well..it has sound, video, and movement...has gotten good reviews.

We haven't gotten any because she is just going to be in the room with us. Even after being out of the bassinet. I tend to keep my babies in the room with me for a long while, lol. I have been thinking about getting one now though that we have a 2 story house, incase I come down stairs and she is still asleep. I dunno though, and it has been so long I don't even know where to start with monitors.

We got the AngelCare one with the movement sensor etc... It got great reviews by purchasers so... Here's hoping it works as well for us!
