I'm going to do that same. Once he's out of our room, I'll get one. I still use one for my 6 year old because it's hard to hear her when we're downstairs. She's a heavy sleeper and sometimes doesn't wake up enough to do more than cry when she has to go potty. This is the one we have for her: http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?st=2002&e=product&pid=55194&pcat=bgm

We haven't gotten any because she is just going to be in the room with us. Even after being out of the bassinet. I tend to keep my babies in the room with me for a long while, lol. I have been thinking about getting one now though that we have a 2 story house, incase I come down stairs and she is still asleep. I dunno though, and it has been so long I don't even know where to start with monitors.
