That's sweet of your friend. I'm sure you needed a lot stuff if it's been 6 yrs!

My mother-in-law has asked to host one for my husband's side of the family, and that one will be in mid Oct. Then my sister and 2 of my girlfriends are co-hosting one in mid-Nov.

Hack yea!! Six year gap and different gender is perfect!! Same thing for me I have a five year old DD and having a boy this time. A baby shower isn't needed this time around because dh and I have good jobs and have a lot of stuff so far but its a nice celebration. Last time we were only 18. But my little sister and mother will be giving DH and I one on october 23.

My MIL and best friend are throwing me one on 9/25...it's our first baby so I'm pretty excited about our shower. There's just so much stuff we need so I'm glad to have it early enough that we'll have time to shop for the stuff we don't get.

Awww, that is so sweet, although it is early i think it is better so u know what to get and what not to.

my Best friend is having one for me at the begining of Nov and i am really excited about it. lol

Yep, this is my second boy but it's been 8 years and I don't have anything! LOL

They will be throwing me a shower at work in mid-November and I'm sure my mom will arrange something with my cousins for family in probably early Nov.

I'm having one. I have had one with every one of my kids. In our family every baby is celebrated. :) Ours will be in Oct.
