Big boobie babies?

Connor isn't really a "big" baby, but he's definitely gained a LOT from eating boob! He was a little thing when born (6lbs 7oz) and at his 2 week appointment was 7lbs 7oz.. He actually lost down to 7lbs 1oz in the hospital, so he's gained quite a lot, lol.

This post makes me feel so much better! August has been gaining a 1lb. per week. I was so worried I was over feeding him. I saw a lactation consultant a week ago and he was 11lb 3 oz. (was 8lb 11oz at birth, left hospital at 7lb 14oz and was up to 9lb 6oz at 2 week appt.). I went today to the doctor because he has a diaper rash and he weighs 12lb 3oz! He's literally gaining a pound a week. The LC told me he was eating around 3 1/2 oz (we weighed him) and to feed him every 2 1/2 to 3 hours, but it's a stretch to get him to 2 1/2 hours, especially during the evening time. My pediatrician told me to try and push the feedings to that as well. He sleeps 6 hours a night - probably because he's such a big boy.

Can any of your babies go 3 hours? How often do you feed them?

RJ is still 3 hours or a little over, he eats 4 to 5 ounces of breastmilk. He's gaining 2 ounces a day it seems.
