I don't know why, but lately I've started to get really anxious about my dd1.

I've been worried about this since I got that BFP. My DD will be 6. Just last night, I decided I really do want a boy so she can stay my precious princess.

I did not enjoy the baby stage at all and am not looking forward to redoing it. However, these past 6 years have flown by so fast and

lol!

I am actually not a fan of the baby stage either. I think 2 and 3 have been a lot more fun even though with the occasional tantrum.

I just keep thinking, man, you can't get these days back, you know? I'm just having issues lol!

Sunni - I am really going back and forth on the gender thing. I LOVE having a girl so a big part of me would like to have another, then I think well maybe it would be better to have one of each and for things to just be different. I don't know. Its looking like a win-win at this point. lol

I'm with you...my DS isgoing to be three in September. And he is hitting a bunch a mile stones, potty training, talking, and singing songs and counting to 20 and saying the alphabet and I so want to celebrate but there is a little pang in my heart of fear that he is growing up SO fast. And he's had me every moment there for him and now I just don't want him to feel slighted b/c of the new baby.

Right there with you! My DD will be a couple months away from 4 when this boy is born. She is also super excited, but I fear she will be kind of jealous when he comes. Ahhhhg. I also think about the time when she will move out years down the road and it makes me want to cry.

My boys are 4 and 1 (already!) and I can't believe how quickly the last four years have gone.
