Car accident on highway yesterday....scary stuff.

While driving my DD and two of her friends home from soccer practice, I was rear ended when coming to a stop in a construction zone.

My daughter is almost 13 and 5'7 so no worries about a booster seat :)

When the insurance company asked if there were any injuries....I just said there were some complaints of aches and pains but no medical intervention at this point. Hopefully, that covers us if something shows up later for anyone.

They only pay to replace it if it meets several of the requirements on some list put out by the gov't. I don't think she'll qualify since her airbag didn't deploy, the car was drivable and the door nearest to the seat wasn't damaged. I think there are a few other options but those are the ones that I met last year in my accident.
