First time Moms, what traditions do you want to start with your new baby? BTDTs, what do you already do?

This is actually the first year we will ever spend Christmas at our house so we are looking forward to starting some traditions (usually we go to Florida to spend it with our families, but this year they are coming to us).

We have an advent calendar that is large and made from fabric. It hangs on the wall and I put dollar store items in it each night before bed. Since tomorrow is 12/1 I just put in 2 watercolor sets. They'll be thrilled tomorrow AM.

Our only real tradition is opening a gift Christmas eve... But that's my family tradition. I would love to create a tradition with hubby though!
