I had staples with my first and assume that is what I will get again this time (they didn't give me a choice).

I had stitches and will get them again. Stapes freak me out so I'm glad not to have them!

If the nurse is doing it right neither staples nor stitches should hurt when being removed. (speaking as a nurse who has removed both more then once)

My staples dissolve- don't need to be removed.

My ob removed the staples for me last time but not sure who will remove it this time since I have a new OB now.
