Up until the last 3 weeks I've been doing really well with my weight.

My body is doing pretty much what it did last time.

Yeah, I did have a spurt in the middle where I gained about 7 lbs in a month and then it tapered off to about 2 lbs a month. I've not gained anything now for a month and I'd expect to gain maybe 5 more lbs (as the baby gains weight) over the next two months. So far I've gained exactly 20 lbs and I'm aiming for 25 total. I gained exactly 30 lbs with my first.

I try to stay off the scale.

Sigh...I'm soooo far over what you guys have gained. I hadn't been tracking my weight gain at all but finally at my last appointment

I shot up by 9 lbs in three weeks at one point, which freaked me out! Doc said it's normal though and should taper off in tri 3...

I went from 110 to 147 by my second tri. luckily I've maintained that 147 and haven't hit 150 yet

Up till now, I've gained very little but I read that at this stage 1lb/week is normal so I think my limited gain days are over. I've already gained 1lb since my last appt and it hasn't even been 2 weeks.

I started close to you, at 198. My last pregnancy I started at 188 and gained 0 by 24 weeks but ballooned to 50 total gained by 35 weeks... this time I've been gaining steadily and have gained 44 already :/ I'm eating pretty well, just keep on gaining. My doc says it's fine because it's all in my belly... I know he says it's fine, but I feel pretty much like a beached whale!

Are you sure your BP is OK? 5 pounds in 3 days is a lot and sudden, unexpected weight gain could be a a sign of pre-eclampsia. Not to scare you, but that's a lot of weight really quickly. I would get my BP checked just to be sure.
