Out of nowhere, I had heartburn that kept me up from 2-4am last night and has bugged me off and on all day. I had this occassionally with my first two pregnancies so I hope this does not become an everyday occurance.

Here too, I was actually going to post about it lol. Its HORRIBLE, I get it with every single pregnancy (and funny enough my kids come out with heads full of hair), something as little as water can bring it on and I feel like I can breath fire, literally. I swear sometimes I think I could just open my mouth and turn into a fire breathing dragon. Right now, eating tums like candy is helping. I know though, come the end, nothing will help.

I've had heartburn a few times already, and sometimes it was also brought on by just water! When I got heartburn with my first pregnancy, I would drink the Earth Mama heartburn tea. It tastes really good and actually works! And it is caffeine free. Here's a link to it on their website, but it can be purchased at other stores too, including BRU:

No problem! It was a life saver for me last pregnancy, especially toward the end!

I have it horribly bad as well. My old ob told me to take prevacid, which worked great, my current ob said no take pepcid, which doesn't work :( but he said if it doesn't work, he'll write me a rx for something else...too bad he's on vacay for the next two weeks :/
