i'm 26 with a 5 year old son and another boy on the way (obviously). All my friends are guys so naturally with me being pregnant we dont hang out any more. I don't have any female friends yet my boyfriend (who's 20) thinks it will be easy to find a best friend easily. I dont go out because i'm pregnant and my sons father has never been involved....i'm not sure where he thinks i'm going to be meeting all these people. I'm the kind of girl that doesnt get a long with other females bc they seem to have issues with me...i've always gotten a long better with guys...His best friends are his two cousins ( one of which he shares the same bday with) they are 1-2 years apart. I dont know what to do. Arizona doesnt exactly have many things/places to go to while pregnant and even when i wasnt i don't drink soo wouldnt exactly meet anyone out at bars (but then again why would i want to meet a best friend there)
i feel you. my older brother hosted mine with my 1st.....and they only people i knew were my parents, brother, and my baby's dad. everyone else was from his work or church...it was a little awkward

What part of AZ are you in? I'm in the east valley of Phoenix...and just moved here in December so I had to start over with making friends. My church is the place I met a lot of them...through a mom's group. Also, meetup.com is a great place to find mom's groups...you can try a few until you find a good fit and its a free site.
It is definitely hard to make new friends, especially if you are in a new place.
