So from pretty much day one I have been dead set on Olivia, but then a couple of weeks ago I said it along with my last name. My last name also has an 'a' at the end so it is Oliviahhh 'last name'ahhhh. It's terrible. I can't believe I didn't notice it before.

My best friends daughter is Aubrey and I absolutely LOVE it. We call her Bry. I love the name, I think it is very girl and sounds beautiful with Noelle!! :) I say go for it. I honestly don't think the meaning will bother her later because everyone now uses it for girls.

I was hoping that it won't bother her, which I'm sure it won't I'm probably just overthinking it. I do like the name which is definitly a step in the right direction since DH and I both agree on it. Finding something we both like has been the biggest struggle!

I like Aubrey too (and think it's probably used more for girls than for boys these days).

In the same boat with my DH, we can't decide. We are likely going to take a list of names into the delivery room with us and pick something after we see him :)

Hubs and I are stuggling for a name. I was in love with the name Quinn until this weekend, and now i'm like meh. I noticed the two names you listed are on the traditional side.... Some names that we have started playing around with:

Abigail
Sophia - Sophie could be a nickname Julie
Addison
Annabelle
Gwen
Lilian
Grace

Hopefully that sparks some ideas for you!

I like Aubrey a lot too and definitely think it is now used way more for girls.

Awww, I'm sorry. As you know, I'm pretty partial to Olivia. I'd known since high school that I would have an Olivia no matter where she came from. (I had planned on adopting from China.) This one is a boy who will be William Ramsey unless he pops out a she and, then, the name will be Wendolyn Naomi. We'll call her Naomi. The fact that I don't get to use the name Naomi makes me a little sad that I'm done having kids.

We are in the same boat...nameless! I am now realizing that my dh is not going to commit to anything until this baby gets here. I'm frustrated by it. He did the same thing with my dd. It also annoys me he won't admit that is what he is doing. lol

I love Aubrey and it was on my list when I was pg with my dd. I personally have never met a male Aubrey. I also love Audrey.

Those are all adorable! Funny, you have 3 that I had on my list! Abigail, Addison, and Grace. But of course DH is being a pain and wouldn't commit to any of them! They are all gorgeous though. Thanks so much for sharing

I think I'm being a little dramatic with the name meaning. And besides every book/website you go to says something different anyway! I think Aubrey is growing on me.

My DH is doing the same thing! I give him about 3 names a day and he never agrees with any of them. I've only met one little girl with the name Aubrey and I would have never thought it could be used as a boy name until I started looking into it. So I shouldn't let it bother me.
