While we were in Babies R Us getting RJ some toys, I snuck and put some Organic Bananas and Sweet Potatoes in the cart. DH didn't notice til we got to the front. He also has a little blue bowl and a spoon. He can sit up and move his head fully with little support so he didn't have a problem. He loves the bananas and fuss like I'm not feeding him fast enough.

Very exciting. I think I am going to wait until 6 months to introduce food. Sounds like RJ is loving it!

It's going to be so hard to wait! Olivia wouldn't take a spoon till she was 8 months so I hope this little isn't that way.

Wow eight months thats crazy. Rj might be holding a chicken leg by then lol. He can even hold his bottle for a little bit. He thinks he's a big boy

Way to go RJ! I gave some cereal and oatmeal in his bottles when he was around 3 weeks for reflux.

I was thinking of starting ceteal soon, too. Not that I'm one to speak since my oldest was eating jar food at 3 months, but aren't we supposed to wait on food until 4 months? Also, does starting lo one cereal & jar food effect bf at all? I want to try and bf Aubrey until a year and I'm worried that if I start filling her tummy up with food that I won't be able to produce/pump enough for her.

My doctor said four months, but rj was chewing like he wanted food so I gave it a try and haven't had a problem. I make sure I breastfeed him first

Most doctors say 6 months now, but are okay with four months (that's when I started DS).
