First time breastfeeding, first time really trying to use birth control. My doctor suggested the mini pill because I haven't done research on birthcontrol yet. Tell me what u know about the mini pill!

I just got mines. I got enough to last for three months. I don't know if I should start taking it.
For those who took it, how did you protect yourself while it was kicking into ur system?
Condoms, no sex etc?

You know, I don't remember but I think the pills are active so you don't have to wait as long as the regular pill for them to kick in.

Ooooh vasectomy, lucky you! When I picked up the pills the lady said I should wait a month before we stopped using condoms. We plan on having one more in three years so no vasectomy for us! Plus DH claims he will never get one.

We too have a boy and a girl. Dh will have a basketball team if I allowed lol

I used it with my first son 8 years ago and am using it again this time too. I was told to start 4 weeks postpartum, which I did. I've been on it for two weeks now. I had stopped bleeding but it started back up a few days after I started the pills and now it's stopped again. I do know you have to be very strict on when you take it (same time of day, every single day) for it to be effective.
