Will you or have you already gotten your LOs ears pierced? I'm contemplating doing it when she's about 3 months, but then I'm not sure if I want to wait until she decides she wants them later down the road. What are your opinions on it?

I keep going back and forth with this. I had Makenzies done at 1 week old (that was 11 years ago, they didn't make you wait till their first sets of shots then) and it was so easy. She didn't even cry. I was able to take care of them and she never pulled on her earrings. They were something that she just always knew, she knew no different. So that was REALLY nice!! With Addie, I know all of this but I just fear "hurting her" :( she has been through so much already. I know after her shots next week though, we will be getting them done. I don't want to wait until she is old enough to decide. My mom waited until I was old enough to decide on my own and I wanted them done so bad but I remember I had so much anxiety over how bad it would hurt. I was scared to death to go. I don't want her to go through that AND if she doesn't want them later on, she can take them out. :)
We had Addies done a few days after her 2 month appointment and check up and honestly, she did better getting her ears done than with the shots. She SCREEEEEEAMED with the shots and needed to comfort nurse after. With her ears she cried for a split second and then was fine, happy and smiling after :)
