Mommies with girls

Will you or have you already gotten your LOs ears pierced? I'm contemplating doing it when she's about 3 months, but then I'm not sure if I want to wait until she decides she wants them later down the road. What are your opinions on it?

I didn't pierce my oldest daughter's ears and I'm not going to pierce Aubrianna's until she makes the decision that she wants them AND shows me that she is responsible enough to take care of them.

    I wont unless she wants them. No earlier then 7 years old.

    I wish my mom had just pierced mine when I was a baby. I am terrified of needles etc and she literally didn't shut up about it for like a month straight when I was 6 or 7 about when was I getting my ears pierced. Ended up caving, crying and shaking and getting them pierced. Shoulda just pierced them when I was a baby and gotten it over with if it was THAT important!

    We pierced Lily's this weekend, just shy of two months old. She handled it very well. There were a few tears upon piercing, but she doesn't seem bothered by them anymore.

    I always said I would never pierce my infant's ears, but then I had 3 boys in a row and wanted all the girly stuff I could. Since she's handled it so well, I don't regret it.

    My integrity hasbeen questioned and I've been accused of lying. I shouldn't have shared so much of myself online, I just got too excited. This is goodbye.

    I had my 5 year olds done when she was 9 months old. I wanted them done but could never do it. We were at the mall one day and I just went for it. Tgey did them both at the same time. She cried...I gave her one of her baby cookie things and she was all good. Itll be the same for Ella...just whenever I have the guts to do it, prob older infant.

    We did Lil's on a whim as well. After she was born, I started considering it but didn't really think I'd go through with it when the time came. We were at the mall over the weekend, I saw the piercing place, and decided to do it. I didn't give myself time to chicken out. They did both at the same time and I nursed her immediately, for comfort, and then she was over it.

    I clean them a couple times a day and turn them frequently, and she doesn't even flinch. Even when her head turns to the side while sleeping, she doesn't seem to be affected. I'm glad it's been so easy. :)
