NT Scan - finger prick or blood draw?

I just read from someone on my facebook that she got her finger pricked. I thought it was a blood draw. Those that have had it done already, which did you get? The blood draw or a finger prick??

Mine was a blood draw, but I also did the additional carrier testing that is offered.

I had the choice of finger prick or draw blood and I did the draw blood.

I had a blood draw...no option of having a finger prick.

Yeah the back of my hand or on my forearm. I would not let them put it in the crease of my arm as that's where baby's head will lay while holding her/him. I don't want anything in the way of me comfortably holding her/him.

That and in the crease of your arm what will happen is if you have any IV fluids running it tends to get blocked easily. Every time you bend your arm in the machine will beep because the fluids cannot easily flow in. It does not seem like an issue until you think of all the things you do bending your arm. While in labor I would hate to hear ANYTHING beeping at me.
