I'm trying to decide on what I should buy for my room for the baby until I'm ready to leave him alone in his room. I just looked at pack n play online at Target Walmart Babies r Us and Graco.com. Do any of you ladies have experience with one of these?? I saw a really nice blue one online that I can't keep my eyes off of.

I used one for my daughter when she was first born, most come with a bassinet that keeps them up higher so it is easier to get them in and out in the middle of the night for feedings. we probably used it for the first 3months.

I'd go with the pack n play it's more versitale:) once your done with the bassinet part the pack n play will be useful down the line:)

I don't want to spend too much on it because he will only be in it for a few months, but I do want him to be comfortable. The crib I'm getting is a little pricey. I saw a blue and tan Graco for almost $200.00. I will check around for other items before I buy anything.

That is exactly how I feel, which is why I don't think we'll get just a bassinet.

I had a graco pnp and it was awesome. We definitely got our money's worth from it. I'd stick to a big name brand...I think they are all pretty much the same.

I'm a FTM and was planning on buying just a bassinet, but I saw a great deal on a graco pack n play at costco and couldn't pass it up ($49.99). It'll work better for us since we have limited space in our house so it'll be versatile.
