Pretty sure I'm in labor...

Started yesterday evening, getting some contractions. I was working from home and they were getting intense enough that I started timing them. They were about 10 minutes apart but not terribly bad, just noticable.

Was up quite a bit last night because even after drinking plenty of water and laying down in bed, they were still coming. I was able to sleep about 45 mins straight, that was my longest stretch, otherwise I was waking each time a contraction came.

Got up this morning and they still weren't terribly strong so I took my son to school and went to work. Of course, it's my BUSIEST week of the year, no exaggeration. I"m trying to get done the things that only I do and my sub can do the rest, but these contractions are definitely getting stronger, so we'll see how much longer I last before I high-tail it out of here!

I'm definitely having more back pain than I had with my son, the back ache is nearly constant, contractions still about 10 mins apart but stronger (they begin in my back/sides and squeeze to the front and then finish down low in the pelvis). Quite a bit of pressure too.

Have you been dilated at any of ur appts? When I was in labor Friday they were 2-7 mins apart. After some hours they went to 8 mins then 14 mins.

I am 37 weeks, as of yesterday. They haven't checked me for dilation at any of the appts yet. I'm staying between 7-10 mins now between contractions but I'm getting that low pressure and throbbing down low. I'm tying up loose ends here and then I'll be getting home.

Oh they def will not stop those contractions, atleast my doctor won't. I can be excited for you knowing ur atleast fullterm!! Maybe that throbbing means those contractions are actually doing something. If ur concerned make sure u call or head to ur doctors office, if not go home, relax and labor there.
