QOTW: What does your nursery look like?

I know we have had a few threads about nursery colors/themes, etc., but I thought it might be fun to hear what everyone is planning to do in their little one's room.

Our theme is a French/travel theme.

Ours is done since we are moving Natalie out f the nursery and into a new room. The theme is "Down Under" - Australian animals, etc. I love it still. We are going to add a few small touches, maybe the baby's name on the wall, change the color of the table cloth, etc, but it still looks great.

That is so cute Alison! I saw the most beautiful Chinese themed baby bedding the other day/. If we had had a girl I would have been tempted to redo the nursery:

It looks just like my room, lol. Baby will be sleeping in a bassinet or pack n play in our room until we are able to move into a larger house. Then eventually baby girl will share a room with Chloe so it'll probably be something simple and girly. Not to themed, maybe just some purple (Chloe's FAVORITE color) and pretty accents.

Right now, it's a pink and girlie playroom/office. We're still deciding on what to do but I'm leaning towards kites or hot air balloons. As I mentioned before, I don't like being boxed into a theme so I try to keep it as generic as possible. The room will either be all yellow or yellow and apple green and I have to hang my beloved folk painting of the Little Boy Blue...which almost tempts me to do a farm theme.

Also, if you or anyone you know sews, JoAnne Fabrics has some darling material that would make a great nursery. I saw owls for boys & girls and some sweet puppy fabric in tempting colors.

Luckily the room we're using for August was already a light blue color (was the guest room) so we don't have to do any painting :) We're doing a space/rocket theme for his room - blue/green/brown accents - here's the link to the bedding we have:

We have not gotten to start yet due to the move, but as soon as we get there I am on it :) Can't wait!!!

I was considering registering for that honey bee set, but it just wasn't girly enough for me in case it is a girl. I couldn't really see how to make it more feminine. I have registered for this set though

I was going to do her walls a super light lavender and then add some flower stuff around the room as well, since honey bees like flowers. That was going to be my way to tie in girly but I just want pink and something that is definitely GIRL!!! LOL.
